ARCADA Benefit Concert

The Abilene Regional Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse is having a benefit concert.

The Triple L Band - a traditional bluegrass gospel - and the Revolutions - Abilene's own! - will be performing, October 15, 2010 at 7:00pm.

 Tickets can be purchased at the PRC offices (104 Pine St., Ste. 4   Abilene, TX 79601) for only $10!!

If you think “huffing” is just something the Three Little Pigs had to watch out for, the wolf may come knocking at your door.  Huffing, bagging, and sniffing are terms for inhalant use, a cheap, legal and accessible way that young people in Abilene are getting high.  On March 16, The Region 2 Prevention Resource Center and the National Inhalant Prevention Coalition (NIPC) will kick off a week-long campaign to raise awareness of the dangers and popularity of this deadly practice.
